Canada Adventures II for the Aerosoft Twin Otter, the Flight1 Pilatus and the King Air 350 adds six adventure flights for the business pilot. A series of six missions begins in Prince George, BC, Canada and continues to the coast at Prince Rupert. You fly on contract with Coulson Aviation ferrying foresty executives.
The DHC-6 Twin Otter is flown in both the early (100) and late (300) variants. The missions begin with West Coast Air and close flying for the Canadian Air Force. The ~censored~ and instrumentation in this Twin Otter model is the best yet, and includes a detailed model of the KX 165A TSO and the KLN-90B.
In a completely different class, the PC-12 is a high performance turboprop that rivals twin engine aircraft in performance with greater efficiency. It is powered by a single Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67P engine 1,200 SHP. It sports a maximum range of 1,560 nautical miles with a maximum cruise speed of 280 knots. The cabin houses nine passengers.
The King Air 350 is Beechcraft’s premium "load and go" aircraft. It sports a double-club cabin and heated, pressurized, and in-flight-accessible baggage areathe largest in its class. The King Air 350 can operate on runways as short as 3,300 feet with exceptional short-field performance due to its highly reliable Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, fowler flaps, and rugged dual-wheel main landing gear.
Now Combat Planes Canada Adventures II brings your FSX aircraft to life. Your virtual first officer handles the communications as you receive your departure clearance in the winter in central British Columbia at Prince George, BC. You carry executives for CANFOR and West Coast Forest Products to their destinations in style.
The forestry industry in British Columbia is a billion dollar industry. But times are tough. Competition from the American Pacific Northwest as well as a worldwide crunch means that challenges occur at every level: funding and goverment relationships; aging equipment and sustainability in the face of ecological needs; issues of jobs and Union requirements.
In these missions you ferry foresty executives to meetings with Union officials at key foresty centers in British Columbia. Beginning at Prince George you fly to Vanderhoof and Fraser Lake, then to Smithers, and on to Terrace and Prince Rupert on the coast. Next you make your way to Kitimat. Two final missions have you flying a search and rescue for the Coast Guard, and then an air ambulance mission in poor weather.
Flight demands vary with weather conditions. In two missions you must deal with equipment failure.
These missions are designed for both SP2 as well as Acceleration. Be sure you purchase the correct version for the aircraft you want to fly. The mission set is available in two versions: for the Cheyenne/Seneca aircraft, and for the Pilatus/King Air 350.
